I can’t believe I haven’t done this yet.
I just realized that out of my 3000 + posts, NONE of them are an “About Me” or something like that. So I thought before I hit 5000 I should probably let some of my wonderful followers know a little more about me.
- My name is Lauren
- I’m 23, but I have the sense of humor of an 8 year old
- I love to laugh and I will laugh if I think somethings funny; even if everyone else thinks its stupid.
- I’m pretty hilarious, and no I don’t care if it sounds arrogant.
- I sometimes put my foot in my mouth, but its all good because I laugh at myself later.
- One of the greatest pieces of advice I ever received was from my father: “You should never leave home without two things: Your ass and your sense of humor. If you leave either of them home, you may as well stay home with it.”
- In case you can’t already tell from my blog, I’m kind of in love with classic Hollywood
- I especially adore Grace Kelly, Rita Hayworth, Gregory Peck, Cary Grant, Audrey Hepburn, the de Havilland sisters, Peter O’Toole, Gene Tierney, among others.
- I also love Marion Cotillard, Glenn Close, Meryl Streep, Amy Adams, Kiera Knightly, Leo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet, and others that aren’t strung out on coke or attention whores.
- I also have an unhealthy obsession with anything Alfred Hitchcock
- I also adore reading, poetry and writing. They are an outlet for things that I sometimes wouldn’t say otherwise. My all-time favorite author is Dame Daphne du Maurier, she wrote Rebecca and while that is one of my favorite books, Frenchman’s Creek is by far my all time, hands-down, there is no other, favorite book. Sorry Joan, I still love your performance though.
- I’m an avid theater lover, and run off to New York any chance I get.
- I also have an extreme intolerance for intolerance. I can’t stand the fact that some people hate other people because of skin color, nationality, appearance or sexual orientation.
- I’m pretty open-minded, and am very laid back.
- If I don’t like you or what you’re doing, you’ll know.
- I will always maintain class, and will always treat people with the same respect that I wish to be treated; even if I don’t like you.
